Data Security

We employ appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data stored with us against loss and unlawful processing, particularly unauthorized access by third parties. Our employees and the service providers commissioned by us are obliged by us to maintain confidentiality and data protection. Furthermore, these persons are granted access to personal data only to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of their tasks.

Our security measures are continuously adapted in line with technological developments. However, the transmission of information over the internet and electronic communication channels always entails certain security risks, and we cannot guarantee absolute security for information transmitted in this way.

Contacting us

When you contact us via our contact addresses and channels (e.g., by email, telephone, or contact form), your personal data will be processed. The data you have provided to us will be processed, e.g., your company name, your name, your function, your email address or telephone number, and your request. In addition, the time of receipt of the request is documented. Mandatory fields in contact forms are marked with an asterisk (*).

We process this data exclusively to fulfill your request (e.g., providing information about a product, assisting with contract processing such as returning products, incorporating your feedback into the improvement of our services).

Use of your data for marketing purposes

Central data storage and analysis in the CRM system (Customer Relationship Management system)

If a clear assignment to your person is possible, the data described in this privacy policy, i.e., in particular:

on our websites are stored and linked in a central database. This serves the efficient management of customer data and allows us to adequately respond to your requests and enables the efficient provision of the services you desire and the processing of related contracts.

This data is evaluated to further develop our offers in a needs-oriented manner and to display and suggest the most relevant information and offers to you. We also use methods that predict potential interests and future orders based on your website usage.

Email marketing and newsletters

If you register for our email newsletter (e.g., when opening or within your customer account), your email address will be stored. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*) in the registration form.

To prevent misuse and to ensure that the owner of an email address has actually given their consent, we use a so-called double opt-in for registration for non-identifiable customers. In this case, after submitting the registration, you will receive an email from us containing a confirmation link. To definitively subscribe to the newsletter, you must click this link. If you do not click the confirmation link within the specified period, your data will be deleted again and our newsletter will not be sent to this address.

By registering, you consent to the processing of this data to receive messages from us about our company, our offers, and related products and services. This may also include behavior-based or personalized content as well as invitations to participate in competitions or to rate one of the aforementioned products and services. The collection of the email address allows us to verify the assignment of the registration to an existing customer number. Linking with a customer account helps us to make the offers and content in the newsletter more relevant to you and to better tailor them to your potential needs.

We will use your data for email dispatch until you withdraw your consent. Withdrawal is possible at any time.

Our marketing emails may contain a so-called web beacon or 1x1 pixel (tracking pixel) or similar technical aids. A web beacon is an invisible graphic linked to the user ID of the respective newsletter subscriber. For each marketing email sent, we receive information about which addresses have not yet received the email, to which addresses it was sent, and for which addresses the delivery failed. It also shows which addresses have opened the email and which links they have clicked. Finally, we also receive information about which addresses have unsubscribed. We use this data for statistical purposes and to optimize marketing emails in terms of frequency, timing, structure, and content of the emails. This allows us to better tailor the information and offers in our emails to the individual interests of the recipients.

The web beacon will be deleted when you delete the email. To prevent the use of web beacons in our marketing emails, please adjust the parameters of your email program so that HTML is not displayed in messages, if this is not already the default setting. By subscribing to the newsletter, you also consent to the statistical evaluation of user behavior for the purpose of optimizing and adapting the newsletter.

Disclosure to third parties and third-party access

Without the support of other companies, we would not be able to provide our services in the desired form. To use the services of these companies, it is necessary to some extent to disclose your personal data. Retention periods

We store personal data only for as long as it is necessary to carry out the processing described in this privacy policy within the scope of our legitimate interest. For contract data, storage is prescribed by statutory retention obligations. Requirements that oblige us to store data arise from accounting regulations and tax laws. According to these regulations, business communication, concluded contracts, and booking receipts must be kept for up to 10 years. Data will be deleted as soon as there is no longer a retention obligation and no legitimate interest in retaining it.

Log file data

When you visit our website, our servers temporarily store each access in a log file (so-called logfile). The following data is collected automatically and stored by us until automated deletion:

The collection and processing of this data serve the purpose of enabling the use of our website (establishing a connection), ensuring system security and stability on a permanent basis, as well as for error and performance analysis, and enables us to optimize our website (see last points).

In the event of an attack on the network infrastructure of the website or in case of suspicion of other unauthorized or abusive website use, the IP address and other data will be evaluated for clarification and defense and, if necessary, used in criminal proceedings for identification and civil and criminal action against the users concerned.

Adobe Analytics

Our website uses Adobe's Experience Cloud technology to collect information about how users interact with the website and its content. Google Ads

Our website uses the services of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") for online advertising. Google uses cookies, such as the so-called DoubleClick cookie, which enable your browser to be recognized when visiting other websites. The information generated by the cookies about visiting these websites (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there (also refer to section 6). We use Google Ads Customer Match. This is a function within Google Ads that allows prospects and existing customers to be reached more effectively and addressed in a personalized way in Google Search, the Google Shopping tab, Gmail, YouTube, and the Google ad networks. Google Ads Customer Match is used, in particular, for remarketing, optimizing campaigns, and increasing the conversion rate.

The personalization of Google advertising is based on assignment to a target group and is carried out by Google based on the information from your Google account and on the activities and interests that arise from your use of Google products and with Google advertising partners. As a Google advertising partner, the use of Google Ads Customer Match enables us to address target groups more precisely and ensures, for example, that the advertising displayed via Google Ads is more precisely tailored to the target group-specific interests that result from your use of our shop. Google Ads Customer Match does not require separate cookies for this purpose. Google requires a list of customer data from us to be able to understand whether you are already known to Google as a user. However, no profiles are created or extended in this process. Google also does not receive your actual data (such as email address, phone number), but only so-called hashed codes that were created using one-way encryption. Google compares these hashed codes with its own user database. Google cannot decrypt these codes again unless the corresponding data is already present in its own user database. Consequently, Google does not receive the customer data uploaded during the upload, but can only determine whether the data is already present at Google or not. If the data is not present at Google, the hashed codes created on the basis of the customer data cannot be decrypted again. Otherwise, the data already known to Google and the hashed codes match, and an assignment for the formation of target groups is possible. After the target groups have been created, the uploaded data is deleted.

Use of our Chat Function

When you contact us via chat, your personal data will be processed. The data you provide to us will be processed, e.g., the name of your company, your name, your function, your email address, and your request. In addition, the time of receipt of the request is documented. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

We process this data exclusively to implement your request (e.g., providing information about a product, assisting with contract processing such as product returns, incorporating your feedback into improving our service). We use your personal data to verify your identity and to check the registration requirements. Your e-mail address and password together serve as login data and thus ensure that the correct person uses the website under your details. We also need your e-mail address to verify and confirm the account opening and for future communication with you required for contract processing. In addition, these data are stored in the customer account for future contract conclusions. For this purpose, we also allow you to store further information in your account (e.g., your preferred payment method).

We also use the data to provide an overview of the ordered products and services used and a simple way to manage your personal data, to administer our website and contractual relationships, i.e., to establish, define the content, process, and amend the contracts concluded with you via your customer account.

We process the information on language and gender to show you offer suggestions on the website that are best tailored to your profile or your personal needs, for statistical recording and evaluation of the selected offers, and thus for optimizing our suggestions and offers.

To prevent misuse, you must always treat your login data confidentially and should close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share the computer with others.

Ordering products

If you wish to order products or book services on the website, we require various data for contract processing. If you do not log in with your customer account, we collect – depending on the product or service – the following data, with mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the corresponding form:

We use the data to verify your identity before concluding a contract. We also need your e-mail address to confirm your order and for future communication with you required for contract processing. We store your data together with the peripheral order data (e.g., time, order number), the data on the ordered/booked services (e.g., designation, price, and characteristics of the product; "product data"), the payment data (e.g., selected payment method, payment confirmation, and time), as well as the information on the processing and fulfillment of the contract (e.g., return of products, use of service or warranty services) in our CRM database so that we can ensure correct order processing and contract fulfillment.

Insofar as this is necessary for contract fulfillment, we will also pass on the required information to any third-party service providers (e.g., suppliers or transport companies).

The provision of data not marked as mandatory is voluntary. We process this data to tailor our offer to your personal needs as best as possible, to facilitate the processing of contracts, to contact you if necessary via an alternative communication channel with regard to contract fulfillment, or for statistical recording and evaluation to optimize our offers.

Online payment processing

If you purchase services or products on our website for a fee, depending on the product or service and the desired payment method – in addition to the information mentioned in the "Ordering products" section – further data is required, such as your credit card information or login to your payment service provider. This information, as well as the fact that you have purchased a service from us for the respective amount and time, will be forwarded to the respective payment service providers (e.g., payment solution providers, credit card issuers, and credit card acquirers).

Submission of ratings or comments

To help other users make purchasing decisions and to support our quality management (especially the processing of negative feedback), you have the opportunity to rate ordered products on our website. The data you have provided to us will be processed and published on the website, i.e., in addition to your rating and its time, possibly also a comment that you have attached to your rating, or the name you provided as a nickname. The nickname can be a freely chosen fantasy name, so that no conclusions can be drawn about your real name or your person. If necessary, the nickname can be adjusted in the customer account.

By publishing comments and contributions on our website, you confirm that as the author, you agree that your comment with nickname and any uploaded photos and videos are publicly visible on the website and that we may use them freely and free of charge for advertising purposes.
