M55 - Snom's DECT all-rounder for business environments
The Snom M55 was developed for scalable SME environments and impresses with its robust design and feel. The generous 2.4" color display ensures a clear, easy-to-read display of the intuitively operated user interface. All settings can be managed centrally via zero-touch provisioning through the M500 base station, and software updates are performed over the air. In addition to proven system features such as line monitoring, call pickup, and hold/return, conference call and intercom groups can also be programmed onto the 6 LED function keys. The powerful 1500 mAh battery enables up to 12 hours of talk time in HD audio quality. In addition to wired headsets, Bluetooth headphones are also supported.
DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications)
The device operates using DECT technology: Use the wireless connection and move up to 50 meters away from the base station with your handset when talking indoors. Since the technology uses different frequency bands than Wi-Fi or Bluetooth below 2.45 GHz, it does not interfere with these networks. Switching base stations within a multi-cell radio network is possible by forwarding to another cell.
Cordless convenience thanks to the Bluetooth interface
This phone has an integrated Bluetooth interface. You do not need an adapter to connect a cordless, Bluetooth-enabled headset to the device. Enjoy maximum freedom of movement when talking on the phone: With a Bluetooth headset, not only do you have both hands free, but you can also move away from your workplace while communicating with your conversation partner.
