The Snom D717 impresses with its high-resolution color display and fully customizable Snom SmartLabels. A built-in ambient sensor ensures that the phone display's brightness is always adjusted to the current lighting conditions in the room. This is both energy-saving and convenient. The sensor measures the ambient brightness in the room and adjusts the brightness of the phone display according to your preferences. This is both energy-saving and convenient.
Easy installation thanks to PoE
This network-enabled device is powered via the LAN cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE). The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices even in hard-to-reach locations or areas where many cables would be disruptive. You save on installation costs and can increase the reliability of the connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS) if desired.
Mobile and flexible thanks to EHS connection
Connect a cordless headset to the phone using an Electronic Hook Switch (EHS): This allows you to handle calls on your own with the headset without having to stay near the phone. Incoming calls are also signaled directly on the headset. When you are near your phone, you can transfer the ongoing call to the standard phone handset. You do not need any mechanical aids, such as a handset lifter, for any of this.
