Description
Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Dome
G5 Dome Camera
Next-generation 2K HD PoE dome camera with improved dynamic range and low-light performance.
Easy installation thanks to PoE
The network camera is powered via the LAN cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE). The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices even in hard-to-reach locations or areas where many cables would be disruptive. You save on installation costs and can, if desired, increase the reliability of the connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
Day/night function with IR-cut filter and IR LED
See what is happening in the camera's surveillance area day and night: The model is equipped with a day/night function that uses an IR-cut filter. During the day, when there is sufficient light, the filter removes disruptive infrared light from the recording, while it automatically switches off when darkness sets in and remains inactive during the night. This makes infrared light visible on the video recording and allows you to see things that would otherwise remain hidden in the dark. Visibility is further enhanced by infrared LED lighting: In this way, the detection area is illuminated without an intruder being able to notice it.
Integrated microphone and speaker
This camera allows for two-way audio communication: Both a microphone and a speaker are built into the device. Not only can you see intruders, but you can also hear what they say and record the audio in addition to the video. By contacting them via the speaker, you have the option of deterring potential criminals from their activities.
Ubiquiti Inc.
Ubiquiti Inc. is an American manufacturer of high-performance network components. Ubiquiti's goal is to provide state-of-the-art, easy-to-implement communication solutions for a global customer base. The company was founded in 2005 and initially manufactured Wi-Fi adapters for PCs. Later, the product range was expanded to include devices such as Wi-Fi routers, especially for outdoor use. Meanwhile, the company also manufactures switches and surveillance cameras. Ubiquiti products generally impress with their superior performance, clever mechanical design, and ease of use.
Managed with the UniFi Protect application: Version 2.2.7 or 2.7.18 and higher (Web) / 1.10.0 and higher (Mobile)
UniFi Protect is required to operate this product. We recommend using it with the UniFi Dream Machine PRO or UniFi Protect Network Video Recorder.
It is not possible to operate a Ubiquiti UniFi Protect network camera without additional hardware. You need at least one of the following UniFi Consoles or Cloud Gateways to manage the network camera and access the video recordings. For example: Network Video Recorder Professional (UNVR-Pro), Network Video Recorder (UNVR), CloudKey+ (UCK-G2-PLUS, UCK-G2-SSD), Dream Machine Pro (UDM-Pro), Dream Machine Special Edition (UDM-SE), Dream Machine Pro Max (UDM-Pro-Max), Dream Router (UDR), Dream Wall. These devices are required to run the UniFi Protect software, which is necessary for managing and storing the network camera's video recordings. The UniFi Protect app alone is not sufficient to operate the network camera.
