The LD dehumidifier series, entirely developed and manufactured in Sweden, includes the most exclusive dehumidifiers in Wood`s range. Placed directly below the clothesline, this series ensures optimal air circulation and "blow-dries" laundry in record time. Use the LD series wherever precise target humidity is required. Especially in wine cellars and museums, thanks to the precision sensor and the Wood`s direct measurement system, you can control the target humidity to the exact percentage. Thanks to the patented iEco-Defrost technology, you benefit from excellent energy values across all series. Specifically, with the LD series, you recover a full 780W of energy per liter of condensate. The highly precise temperature and humidity sensors built into the device are manufactured in Switzerland. Anti-Mold Filter (SM Filter)
In laundry rooms, cotton lint and laundry dust are highly prevalent and can destroy electrical appliances over time. Not with the Wood`s SM filter! Replace the anti-mold filter (SM filter) included in the dehumidifier annually to reliably remove not only cotton lint and laundry dust but also pollen, soot, dust, pet hair, and other health-damaging allergens from the air.
Operating Modes
Control by percentage humidity: Set the desired target humidity and ventilation strength on the digital touchscreen. The LD dehumidifier will now operate precisely only when the humidity value you entered is exceeded. Easy: The dehumidifier starts when the humidity is above 50% and stops when it falls below 50%, all at a low ventilation strength for very quiet operation. Laundry drying: Maximum dehumidification without stopping at maximum air circulation. The dehumidifier operates at "full throttle."
Dehumidification for indoor climate, for drying laundry or against mold formation
The dehumidifier can be used in many ways. Especially in rooms that you cannot ventilate at all or only to a limited extent, such as in the basement or attic, the device prevents bacterial growth and mold, thereby preventing damage to inventory and the building structure. In addition, the dehumidifier accelerates the drying of hanging laundry if you use it in the laundry room. On humid summer days, the appliance creates a cooler and more pleasant indoor climate in your living spaces by lowering the humidity to a comfortable level between 40 and 60 percent.
No freezing of water in the tank
The automatic frost protection prevents the water in the dehumidifier's tank from freezing. If the water inside the device freezes, it can be damaged. Thanks to the frost protection function, you don't have to worry about this, even if you use the dehumidifier in an unheated cellar on a cool night.
