Ultraviolet light in the C spectrum (UV-C) is a high-energy light with a wavelength of 200–400 nanometers. It works by killing microorganisms and destroying their DNA, preventing them from reproducing. UV-C light neutralizes all harmful bacteria, making the water safe to drink.

Two cleaning modes

Fill the bottle with water. Screw on the cap and press it to begin purifying your water. The bottle has two modes: Normal and Adventure. Press the button once for Normal mode or twice for Adventure mode. Normal mode is indicated by a sky blue light, while Adventure mode is indicated by a pulsing blue light. You should shake the bottle gently during the purification cycle to allow the UV light to spread evenly throughout the water.

Additional cleaning power

The bottle also self-cleans every 2 hours, performing a 10-second cycle to intelligently clean every crevice of your bottle. You can turn this feature off when you need to store your water bottle by holding the button for 5 seconds. This activates the Travel Lock, preventing your bottle from self-cleaning until it's turned back on.

No filter replacement required

There are no consumables in the bottle, as the UVC LED technology doesn't require filter replacement. The bottle cap is recharged, and one charge lasts up to 2 months.

Also suitable for drinks other than water

The LARQ Bottle is designed as a self-cleaning water bottle. If sugary drinks or coffee are added, the bottle should be hand-washed afterward.
