The universal mount from RAM Mount consists of a steering rod base, a connecting arm, and the X-Grip Universal Mount as the headpiece. The mount can be attached to rods from 1.27 to 3.18 cm in diameter and holds devices with a maximum height of 2.2 cm and a length and width of 4.76 to 8.25 cm. The rubber coating on the mount prevents the device from slipping, even under strong vibrations.
Modular holding system
The RAM Mount mounting system is modular. Each mount consists of a base, an arm, and a top. Depending on the mount, these are bolted together, but most often they connect via a ball joint. This provides flexibility in orientation and, together with the material, provides a shock and vibration-damping effect.
