Samsonite
In 1910, Jesse Shwayder founded the Shwayder Trunk Manufacturing Company in Denver, which initially produced heavy wooden trunks. The company was later renamed Shwayder Brothers, Inc., but it wasn't until 1941, when it launched the Samsonite Streamline, a suitcase-like piece of luggage, that the brand it is today developed. Samsonite became increasingly familiar to customers, which ultimately led to another name change. The broad product range today includes suitcases, travel bags, backpacks, laptop bags, and other travel accessories.
